A motorist has been hit with a £30 fine following this unusual piece of parking.
Pedestrians walking along this Manningham street had an obstacle to contend with in the shape of a silver Volkswagen.
PCSO Rita Pugal was on foot patrol and came across the badly-parked car, which was blocking the pavement for pedestrians.
A spokesman for the neighbourhood policing team said: “We don’t expect people to have to walk into the road to walk around the car when there is a pavement designed for pedestrians.
“We know from speaking with the public that they dislike bad parking as much as we do. This driver was given a fixed penalty fine for £30 for causing an unnecessary obstruction.
“He was advised about his parking and hopefully will be a little more considerate.”
