Budding photographers at Laisterdyke Business and Enterprise College have been challenge to practice what they have been taught – by getting a photograph published to support a press release about their course.
The students received expert guidance from professional freelance photographer, Bob Collier, whose work has included assignments for The Sunday Times and Reuters.
He visited the school to meet the 18 students and advise them on how best to create a picture that would help tell the story about their course and about their interest in photography.
Course tutor Richard Farndale said: 'I have been delighted by the level of interest in the course. A vocational course like this may inspire some to pursue a career in photography and film and the involvement of an experienced and successful professional can only inspire them further.
“Where better for this to happen than in Bradford, the capital of film and photography?”
