A college has joined a scheme raising money for a cancer-care hospice.
Laisterdyke Business and Enterprise College in Bradford will be competing with eight of the district’s secondary schools in the Mind your own Business venture for Manorlands, the Sue Ryder home at Oxenhope, near Keighley.
Each team is given £50 and challenged to make a profit in a business scheme.
Warren Beaumont, a teacher at Laisterdyke, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for students to learn about business and enterprise in a hands-on way.”
