These enterprising students are helping keep Bradford City bosses on the ball.

The Year Nine pupils at Laisterdyke Business and Enterprise College were set a challenge.

They were asked to come up with ways to encourage 11-year-olds to support matches and buy season tickets once they are too old to get in free with an accompanying adult. Yesterday 17 of the students went to Bradford City’s museum at Valley Parade and presented their ideas to a panel of directors, coaches and managers.

The young people were also asked to come up with ideas for designing a leaflet about the club and for a Positive Lifestyle Centre there.

Head of Enterprise Gerard Liston said: “They’ve put lots of energy into these ideas and we’re hoping for positive feedback.”
