A 21-year-old man was shot in Bradford today.
The incident occurred in Sticker Lane, Laisterdyke, at about 9.30am.
The man, who suffered gunshot wounds to the chest, was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said his injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
Officers have appealed for witnesses and said the shooting appeared to be a targetted rather than a random attack.
Neighbourhood Policing Officers are out in the area to provide reassurance to members of the public.
