Business students had a go where city bankers have failed and played the game of world finance.
There was no chance of Laisterdyke Business Coll-ege needing a bail-out though, for Year Ten pupils played a simulation of the market based on old data.
Groups of children were asked to back companies of their choice on the FTSE 100 and had to respond to their fluctuating fortunes.
A trophy was presented to the winning group by Rob Kilner of Redmayne Bentley.
