Families are being invited to find out about what services are available to them at Shirley Manor Primary School in Wyke on Wednesday, January 19.

The school, in Methuen Oval, is hosting a drop-in session to promote parental involvement and community engagement.

Among the agencies attending are West Yorkshire Police, social landlord Incommunities, the school’s nurse, the Bradford Community Drug and Alcohol Team, and representatives at Wyke Children’s Centre who will be advising on what is available in the form of family support.

Advice will be available from representatives of Bradford College and the Open University, and the Local Neighbourhood Warden will be available.

Laura Davison, Shirley Manor’s parental involvement worker, will run a Cook and Eat session.

The event will take place from 9am until noon.
