Children got their hands on some hi-tech classroom kit to develop writing skills.
Thirty pupils at Shirley Manor Primary School, Wyke, were yesterday kitted out with netbooks – mini laptops – thanks to Challenge City Learning Centre in Bradford.
The school has formed a partnership with the centre to equip year three and four with the technology.
Headteacher Christine Shackleton said: “The new netbooks will allow our pupils to have access to the latest educational multimedia software, both at home and at school, and will motivate them to be more creative and independent in their learning.”
