School children have hosted a Bollywood night to raise money for survivors of the Pakistan flood disaster.
The former Deputy Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Naveeda Ikram, attended the event at Peel Park Primary School, in Undercliffe, and gave a speech about her recent visit to the flood-hit region.
Members of the community, parents and staff were invited along and saw a fashion show performed by staff, a DJ, dancers, a dhol player and performances by pupils.
Yasmin Khan, the school’s parental involvement officer, said: “It’s great for children, parents and the community to all be involved.
“It shows we can all come together for a good cause.”
