Thornton ANTIQUARIAN SOCIETY: On Wednesday, February 22, the speaker at the weekly meeting will be David Pratt, a member of the well-known Pratt family who owned Christopher Pratts, formerly on North Parade in Bradford. Mr Pratt will be talking about the history of the store in Bradford. They meet at Thornton Community Centre, on Market Street, Thornton at 2pm- FASHION SHOW: Tickets are now on sale for the fashion show starting at 7pm on the Friday, March 9, at St James’s Church when admission is £3 for adults and £2 for children to include refreshments. Tickets are available either from church or Harmony Beauty Salon just below the Post Office.
