A drug addict hanged himself following an argument with his girlfriend, an inquest heard today.
Daniel Robinson, 33, of Ravenscliffe Avenue, Bradford, was found dead in woodland near the estate by a dog walker in September.
The hearing at Bradford Coroner’s Court was told how Mr Robinson, who used methadone, had a history of self-harm and depression.
He had previously been admitted to Lynfield Mount Hospital, Bradford, but doctors there were of the opinion he suffered from no mental illnesses.
Recording a verdict of suicide, Coroner Roger Whittaker said Mr Robinson had taken his own life while the balance of his mind was disturbed.
He said: “It is clear that for the last 20 years he has been misusing stimulants and drugs of all sorts, which have caused him and those who love him a huge amount of problems.”
