Wibsey Tai Chi Association will expand across Bradford with a lottery grant of £9,926.
The association will use the award to establish their group, in other areas.
The project is one of 27 in West Yorkshire receiving £227,482 in a round of awards from the Big Lottery Fund’s Awards for All.
Willoughby Hart, chairman of the Wibsey Tai Chi Association, said: “We are very grateful.”
The Saheli Group, at the Girlington Community Centre, in Girlington Road, Bradford, will use its award of £10,000 to open a café and hold healthy eating classes.
