More than a dozen schoolchildren from Bradford enjoyed a two-day trip to York as a reward for successfully completing a citizenship course.
Police community support officers ran the course in conjunction with Frizinghall Primary School and Shipley CE Primary School.
Year six children took part in a series of lessons learning about what is involved in being a good citizen as an after-school activity.
After completing the course, 16 pupils took part in visits to the National Railway Museum to learn about rail safety and to Knaresborough where they took part in a treasure hunt to learn about the area.
PCSOs Sam Sagar and Cath Elder hope to continue to run the citizenship courses as they feel they are a valuable addition to work alongside the school curriculum and essential for children to learn about being a good citizen in the future.
