Parents and pupils have celebrated achieving healthy goals at a Bradford after-school club.
More than a dozen children and family members have completed a 12-week Let’s Get Healthy programme with Frizinghall Primary School’s parental involvement worker Jo Thomson.
With funding from Maria Bourke, who founded the Bradford programme, and Lottery funding, she has been running the exercise and healthy eating course as an affordable alternative to joining a gym.
Participants work towards fitness or dietary targets, with parents joining in.
Families celebrated their accomplishments with Bradford Bulls rugby league players who joined them for a game of British bulldog.
Funding for the programme has now run out. To sponsor the courses, call 07941 818104.
