Arnold and Joyce Lightowler
Former Lord Mayor of Bradford Arnold Lightowler has celebrated 65 years of marriage with his wife, Joyce.
The couple were married on March 18, 1944, at St. Margaret’s Parish Church, Frizinghall, Bradford.
Arnold was Lord Mayor from 1980 to 1981 and both he and Joyce have been active members of the Conservative party for many years.
The couple have two daughters, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
They now live in Boroughbridge where they enjoy gardening, seeing friends and eating out.
