Hooded burglars who forced their way into an elderly woman’s Bradford home are being hunted by detectives.

The 73-year-old woman was left shaken by the gang who stole cash and property from the house in Northdale Road, Frizinghall.

The incident took place at about 6.30pm on Monday after three men watched the woman return home, and then forced their way in.

They ordered her to remain still while they stole an amount of cash and other property before fleeing.

The burglars were white and aged about 20. They were all wearing hooded tops.

Detective Inspector John Priestley, of Airedale and North Bradford CID, said: “This was a nasty incident and we are keen to locate those responsible.”

“It took place in a residential area at a time when people would still have been making their way home from work so we believe it is likely someone would have seen something.

“Anyone who has information should please contact Airedale and North Bradford CID on 0845 60 60 606.”
