Police have issued this e-fit of a man they are hunting following an attempted robbery on a woman in a park in Farsley.

The 51-year-old woman was walking along a path in Westroyd Park, New Street, at about 7.40am on Tuesday when a man pushed her and tried to pull her handbag from her shoulder.

She fought back and the man let go of the handbag and pushed her over before running off empty-handed towards Parkside Road.

Her attacker was white, in his mid-20s, about 5ft 8ins tall and very thin with dark blond or light brown hair, which was shaved on the sides and long on top.

He had a long face, which was covered in acne, and prominent cheekbones.

He was wearing a dark zip-up hoodie with the hood up, black nylon tracksuit bottoms and dirty white trainers.
