Police hunt for Drighlington raider

Police are hunting a masked gunman who threatened a woman at shop in Drighlington last night.
The man, who was wearing a balaclava and carrying a black handgun, entered the Cop-op store in Whitehall Road shortly before 9.40pm and demanded till money from the female member of staff.
He left the store without taking any cash and is believed to have turned left out of the door.
He was wearing a black waist-length jacket and dark full-length trousers and is described as white, around 5ft 8ins to 5ft 9ins tall and of average build.
