Two-year-old critical but stable in hospital after Drighlington incident

Two dogs that attacked a two-year-old toddler will be destroyed.

The boy was left fighting for his life at Leeds General Infirmary after being mauled by the Staffordshire bull terriers in Fairfax Avenue, Drighlington, Bradford.

Last night his condition was described as critical but stable.

A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said: “The owner has signed for both dogs to be destroyed.”

A man, 37, and a woman, 22, were arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis after the incident.
