Residents on a Bradford estate will be dressed to impress in outfits from the swinging sixties on Friday, July 8.
Canterbury’s annual parade will be waved off at 1.30pm by Lord Mayor of Bradford Councillor Naveeda Ikram.
It will be led by musician Mark Ostyn, playing Beatles hits.
Lillian Dalby, who has grandchildren at Horton Park Primary School, was part of a group that prepared costumes. She said: “We can’t wait to see everyone dressed up.”
The parade starts at the Canterbury Children’s Centre and ends at Horton Park School, where there will be family entertainment including dancing from Kala Sangam.
