An historic organ is being transferred from a Bradford church to Germany bit by bit.
The instrument was the centrepiece of Birkenshaw Methodist Church between 1871 and 2008, before worship moved to the adjacent, renovated hall which became the Methodist Church Centre.
German organ builder Christian Goeb, of Cologne, bought the redundant instrument and has just completed the second stage of transporting its 20,000-plus parts back to his homeland.
The Reverend Graham Edwards, Neil Hall, Brian Snelson, Bob Green, Chris Norris, Alan Hawkes and Stephen Wright helped Mr Goeb on his recent return trip to continue the dismantling operation.
