A family escaped a fire at their house after being alerted by a smoke detector.
The occupants of the semi-detached property, in Whitehall Road East, Birkenshaw, Bradford, had gone to bed when the fire started in a first-floor bedroom at around 11pm yesterday.
They closed the door, confining the damage to the bedroom.
A spokesman for Morley fire station said it was not clear how the fire started.
