A 21-year-old man who hit his head on a kerb when he fell while crossing in front of a bus has died.
Police yesterday appealed again for witnesses to the incident in Bradford Road, Birkenshaw, close to its junction with Town Street, at about 10.20pm on Tuesday, July 14.
The man, who was not being named by police until relatives had been informed, was from the London area.
He died at Leeds General Infirmary.
Witnesses who were passing at the time on foot or in a vehicle have been asked to contact PC Jonathan Snow-den on 0845 6060606.
The Coroner has been informed and an inquest into the man’s death will be held at a later date.
