A 90-year-old woman had her purse stolen from her home by a man pretending to be from the water board.
He entered the house in Ghyllroyd Drive, Birkenshaw, asking to check the water at 5.45pm on July 7.
While the woman was in the kitchen he stole some cash from a purse in a bedroom and left a short time later.
The man is described as Asian, around 20 years old, 5ft 7in, skinny, with short dark hair and stubble.
He was also wearing a light grey suit with a coat over the top.
