A man was punched during an alleged road rage incident in Bradford.
The 31-year-old was driving a Skoda Octavia along Chapel Lane, Allerton, when he was approached by the driver of a silver Ford Mondeo, which had been travelling in the opposite direction.
Due to parked cars along the roadside, it is believed there was not room for the vehicles to pass each other.
As a result, the driver of the Mondeo, described as white, aged 25 to 30, and slim, is reported to have got out of his car and begun shouting racial abuse at the other man, who is Asian.
He is understood to have walked to the driver’s side of the complainant’s car and, following an argument, assaulted him. The suspect, who had short brown hair, a slim face and was wearing glasses and a plain dark jumper, then made off in his car, with a partial registration of SG51.
Anyone who witnessed the incident on Thursday, April 26 at 8pm, or has any information about the full registration of the vehicle, should contact PC Leeson on (01274) 475272 or 101. Alternatively e-mail hanpt6@westyorkshire.pnn.police.uk.
