BOOK DAY: You can celebrate World Book Day at Allerton Library on Thursday from 3.15pm to 4.15pm with a craft event based around The Enormous Crocodile by Roald Dahl, plus a colouring competition.

BEAR VISITS: Bookstart Bear pays a visit to Allerton Library on Monday, March 5, from 10.15am.

DIABETES: A diabetes drop-in session will be held at Allerton Library on Tuesday, March 6, from 2.30pm to 4.30pm. If you have any questions come along and speak to our NHS dietician.

PRAYER: The Women’s World Day of Prayer is on Friday and a service is to be held at Allerton Methodist Church at 2pm. The content of the worship has been written by women in Malaysia.

WORSHIP: The Sunday worship at 10.30am at Allerton Methodist Church will be led by Kim Attenborough.

CONCERT: Tickets are now on sale for a Matinee Concert at Allerton Congregational Church on Saturday at 2.30pm when Ian Moorhouse will present Show Stoppers musical entertainment. The price is £6 and includes afternoon tea.

ZUMBA: Zumba’s back at Cafe West with Amy this Tuesday 6.30pm to 7.30pm for £4 per class ART: An arts and crafts class is start on Monday, March 12, from 10.30am to 12.30am. at Cafe West.

EXERCISE: Gentle exercise for Older People every Tuesday 11.30am -12.30at Cafe West: Exercise for Health Weds 9.30am-10.30am SILVER: SilverSurfers computers for the over-50s is held every Wednesday from 10.30am to 12.30pm for £2 per session. There is also the Silverthreads Lunch Club every Tuesday at 12.30pm with a hearty two-course lunch with a drink for £3.50.

SUPPORT: Gail Barraclough is the Children’s Centre family support worker. As well as the fun and exciting sessions they offer they understand that there are people who for various reasons need help and support through difficult times.
