Bell Dean Post Office is on the move – but only to next door.
The post office at 4 Greenway Drive, Allerton shuts on Thursday, December 2 at 5.30pm and re-opens on Saturday, December 4 at 9am just two doors down at 6a Greenway Drive.
The new branch has a step at the entrance but there is a portable ramp available. It will also have a low-serving counter to help customers with mobility difficulties and there is a hearing loop.
Over the short time the current post office is shut, the nearest alternatives are Allerton Post Office on Allerton Road or Thornton Post Office on Kipping Lane.
