A Bradford school was transformed into an art gallery as children exhibited their work for parents and visitors.
The children at St Matthew’s Catholic Primary School, Allerton, had been participating in a project called Take One Picture, which saw them produce work based on painting The Umbrellas, by Pierre-Auguste Renoir.
The school gallery featured a range of work from each class, including a large painted umbrella, life-size paper costumes from the Victorian period, personification poems and woven baskets.
Head teacher Katy Cox said: “Having the whole school take one picture as the basis for their work gave teachers and pupils the freedom to be creative and diverse.
“The quality and variety of work produced is amazing and having so many visitors to view the work has been wonderful.”
