A six-week course of workshops to help people find employment will start next week.
The Skills for Employment course is aimed at unemployed adults who want to gain skills to get into work.
The workshops will run for six weeks from 9.30am to 11.30am on Thursdays, starting on January 12 at the Bedale Centre, in Buttershaw.
The sessions will feature an informal group led by a tutor who will help with interview skills, curriculum vitae writing, researching vacancies and getting skills to get into work.
To book a place contact Maggie at the Footprints Family Centre, formerly the Buttershaw Christian Family Centre, on (01274) 690262, extension 23, 07780 779314 or e-mail maggie. lolashvili@buttershaw footprints.org.uk.
