HALL: Advice sessions are being held in South Bradford at Clayton Village Hall, Reva Syke Road, on Tuesday from 9.30am to 10am for drop-in service and from 10am to noon for appointments, and at Scholemoor Community Centre, Dracup Avenue, on Thursdays from 9.30am to 10am for drop-in service and from 10am to noon for appointments.
ART CLASSES: Art classes are held at the Baptist Church on School Street, Clayton, on Tuesday from 10am to noon. These are small friendly classes and work with water, oil and acrylics and welcome anyone from beginners to the more experienced.
CHURCHES: Worship in the area will be held on Sunday at 10.30am at Clayton, Clayton Heights and Lidget Green with Great Horton . At Horton Bank Top there will be gift day and an all-age worship, then in the evening at 6pm there will be a united service of worship led by the Reverend Iris Musgrove.
MEET: Scouts the area will hold their last session this week before breaking up for the summer holidays. The evening will be spent at Blackhills from 6pm for the Beavers, then the Cubs will arrive at 7pm. The youngsters have just completed the water challenges at Reva on Sunday which will go towards their Jubilee challenge badge. Call (01274) 501481. Scouting is held at Clayton Heights Methodist Church on Wednesdays at 6pm for Beavers boys and girls aged six and seven, then at 7pm for Cubs. Scouts meet at 7.30pm. Call (01274) 501481.
