SHOW: Idle & Thackley IT KIDS will be in Film Vision at The Little Theatre, Malt Shovel Yard, Westfield Lane, from Thursday to Saturday, July 26 to 28, at 7.30pm. EXERCISE: Idle Exercisers has a few vacancies on Fridays for all those over 60. There will be good exercise with a trained instructor in cardiac and pulmonary exercise. Sessions are held on Fridays at Idle Baptist Church. Meet at 10am for a 10.30am start and the cost is £2.50. Call Donald Wood on (01274) 615957.
FORUM: Nina Nicholson of Brighouse will be showing slides of the Western National Parks in North America to Idle & Thackley Men’s Forum today at 10am for 10.30am at Thackley Methodist Church Community Centre.
ACTIVITIES: The Salvation Army in Walter Street is open on Tuesdays for Care Club for the over-60s at 10am. Wednesday is the friendship group at 2pm, Bible discussion at 7.30pm. Thursday is parent and toddlers at 1pm. Sunday worship is at 10.30am with a Bill Gaither film shown on the big screen at 6.30pm.
CAFE: Thackley Good Friends Cafe has a warm welcome for you every Monday from 10am to noon at Thackley Cricket Club, Ainsbury Avenue
