Singing and dancing teenagers took each other on in a hard-fought ‘X-Factor’ style contest at Horton Grange Primary School, Bradford.

Pupils performed their routines in front of hundreds and the winners go on to face a showdown with children from six other local schools in a grand final at the Alhambra Studios on Wednesday, June 8.

The winners were female singing duo Areeba Hashmi and Barirah Irfan, breakdancer Zayam Hasnain, and a boy band of Hasan Sidat, Hussain Sidat, Timothy Wheeler and Hamzah Mussa.
