Eldwick and Gilstead residents invited to visit new Oak Glen surgery

Residents of Eldwick, Gilstead and beyond are invited to attend an open day at Oak Glen Surgery on Wednesday, between 1pm and 4.30pm.

Doctors Aziz Hafiz and Sarah Whitfield have issued the invitation to give people a chance to see what services are available in Eldwick and Gilstead Health Centre, which has been home to Oak Glen Surgery for seven months.

Following local feedback, the surgery has expanded the services it offers. These now include a full range of NHS services. The health centre is also home to Baskind’s Pharmacy.

Dr Hafiz said: “When we hear much in the news about fragmented elderly care, we pride ourselves on our personal approach to our elderly population ensuring continuity of care between hospital and the surgery.”
