More than 1,100 homes were left without electricity following a power cut in Wilsden, Cottingley and Sandy Lane.
Northern Power Grid, which is responsible for electricity supplies in Yorkshire and the North-East, said an underground cable fault had left 1,167 of its customers without electricity for nearly two hours.
The fault caused a power cut at 4.46pm on Sunday and services were restored at 6.40pm.
The spokesman said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
