Family and friends of a much-loved Bradford woman have dedicated a park bench in her memory.
Pupils, parents and staff at Sandy Lane Primary School in Allerton raised almost £900 for the bench, installed in Greenwood Park, to remember Lisa Fearnside, who died a year ago from cancer.
Mrs Fearnside, of Allerton, was a keen volunteer at the school, where her nine-year-old daughter Amelia is a pupil.
The school’s business manager Karen Kirkpatrick said: “Whenever parents were needed to come in and help she was always available.
“She was a big part of the school and she has been a big loss.”
Teachers, parents, governors and relatives attended a dedication ceremony at the park.
