Dog owners are being urged not to dump their pets after the RSPCA found these two cross-breeds tied to its animal home railings by a washing line.
Mount Street Animal Home manager Mandy Miller said the animals could have strangled each other because of the way they were fastenend together then attached to the fence.
They were spotted by a passer-by who contacted the charity, which yesterday rescued them. Now the two are being looked after in the kennels but a lack of information about them will make it difficult to find them a home.
The dogs are both bitches, one is about ten years old and the other is about eight.
Anyone with information is asked to call the RSPCA in Bradford on (01274) 723063 or the 24-hour helpline on 0300 1234 999.

I think this is a disgrace, these poor animals shouldnt have been left like this, why couldnt the owners wait until the RSPCA was open and then take them to be rehomed, we are going to see more of this, as people cant afford to feed themselves let alone dogs. If only the dogs could talk!
