Robbery efit issued

Police have released an e-fit of a man wanted in connection with a robbery.

The man entered an address in North View Road, Westgate Hill, East Bierley, with another man and threatened and used force on a woman who was with her young child.

The men, who are believed to be in their mid 20s, took her car keys and escaped in her silver 53 plate VW golf.

Prior to the men entering the property another man turned up saying he was from the gas board and asked to read the meter.

The man had an ID card, however it is believed he may have been involved in the incident.

The vehicle is still missing and police are awaiting forensic reports.

The robbery took place between 2pm and 3pm on Thursday, February 28.
