Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman taxi driver was robbed by two youths with a knife and an iron bar.
The attack happened in the Bowling Hall Road area of Bradford. Detectives say the robbery took place after the driver collected two men from Lister Avenue and took them to Bowling Hall Road.
The men asked her to wait while they got some money for the fare. They returned with a knife and an iron bar and demanded money.
After a struggle, the men ran off in the direction of Bowling Hall Road and Dudley Hill, having taken an amount of cash.
One is white, aged about 18, and 5ft 8ins. He was skinny, had short hair and was wearing a light-coloured top and tracksuit bottoms.
The second was of mixed race, also about 18, and about 5ft 6ins tall. He was skinny and wore a head-covering, black tracksuit bottoms and a black jacket.
A man has been arrested in connection with the robbery which occurred at 7pm last Thursday, He has been released on police bail while inquiries continue.
