MORE than 300 classic cars and vehicles thrilled visitors to Burley-in-Wharfedale Cricket Club today for this year’s Burley Classic Vehicle Show.

The weather was kind to the organisers as visitors flocked to enjoy the entertainment and admire the handiwork of the many classic car owners who take their vehicles along each year.

Categories included cars, tractors, motorcycles, American and commercial.

There were also classes for 4x4, custom and competition vehicle with a people’s choice and best car.

The show was in support of the Burley Summer Festival which in turn has helped support such local charities as the scouts and guides, Marie Curie, Save the Children and War Child.

Other attractions on the day to make the occasion a family event included Burley Art Club Show, art and craft market, vintage show, donkey rides, Silsden Town Band, target bowls by Burley Bowling Club and Burley Ukulele Jammers.

Praise in the Park was also held and organised through Churches Together.
