A series of events that will help shape a Bradford festival will be held this week.

The WOW - Women of the World festival returns to the city in November (17-19), and like last year, community groups and members of the public will be asked what events they want to see.

Three “think ins” will be held this week for people to come and help shape the festival’s programme.

One will take place tomorrow (Wednesday) from 6pm to 8pm at Kala Sangam. Another will run on Thursday from 1pm to 3pm at Kala Sangam and the third is on Saturday from 2pm to 4pm at Margaret McMillan Tower.

The WOW Festival started at London’s Southbank Centre, and last year it came to Bradford for the first time.

The event attracted hundreds, and this year it is being run by Laura Brooks and Saliah Rubani, who helped set up Speakers Corner on Ivegate.
