FIRE crews had to cut away part of a fence after a young boy got his finger trapped in it.
Just before 1pm yesterday a crew from Stanningley and a technical rescue unit from Cleckheaton were called to Littlemoor Crescent in Pudsey after reports that a child had got stuck in railings.
The technical rescue crew used a "vibration cutter" to cut off a piece of the railing that the child’s finger was stuck in and an ambulance was called.
Firefighters followed the ambulance to hospital to help doctors fully remove the fence from the boy's hand.
