There may not be too many April showers around at the moment but that did not prevent youngsters from Byron Primary School in Bradford designing their own range of Wellington boots.
Pupils from Year 2 at the Barkerend Road school had to design and create a pair of wellies, with the aim of making them as fun and colourful as possible. They then presented creations in their own "Welly Boot Parade".
The event was co-ordinated as part of Welsh Natural Mineral Water Brecon Carreg's "Celebrating Rain" campaign, which aims to encourage everyone to celebrate the naturally wet weather for which the UK is famous.
Gill Burrock, Brecon Carreg marketing manager, said: "The children really seemed to enjoy the day and had lots of fun creating and painting the wellies.
"We want to encourage people to celebrate rain and think of all the fun that can be had with water. So often people don't think of all the exciting and amusing activities they can do when it rains and we want to change this."
