BUSINESSWOMAN Rachel Gough found herself with too little time to train for a fundraising marathon attempt, so has organised a walking on hot coals challenge instead.

The requires only two hours of 'neuro linguistic programming' to put participants in the right mindset to walk over the coals and she is inviting people to join her in the challenge to raise money for the Forget me Not Children's Hospice.

The event will take place at the ROKT climbing gym in Brighouse from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday, October 9.

Rachel said: “I lead a busy life and run my own business and wanted to raise money for Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice but I don’t have much time to train for a physical endurance event like a marathon so I decided to organize a mental endurance event which just requires two hours Neuro Linguistic Programming to be able to use mind over matter to walk over hot coals without burning your feet.”

Louise Mortimer from ROKT is helping to organize the event .

Anyone over 14 years old can register to take part, 14 -17 year olds require parental/ guardian consent. For more information call Rachel Gough on 07550 094913.
