A series of events that will demonstrate that animals are among some of the most astonishing athletes in the world are continuing at Bradford Council’s libraries.

The Animalympics ZooLab workshops feature giant African snails, newts, tarantulas, snakes and scorpions.

The free hour-long workshops are suitable for five to 12-year-olds and due to the limited number of places, they must be booked through the relevant library.

Next week they are being held on Monday at Silsden Library at 11am and Haworth Road Library, Daisy Hill, at 2.30pm; on Tuesday the travelling library in Cullingworth at 3pm; on Wednesday at Queensbury Library at 10.30am and Bradford Central Library at 2pm; on Thursday at Wyke Library at 11am and Holme Wood Library at 2.30pm; on Friday at Ilkley Library at 11am and Thornton Library at 2.30pm.
