MP Philip Davies' researcher wins top award

A member of Philip Davies’ parliamentary staff has been named the top Tory researcher of the year.

Grainne Magee, who works for the Shipley MP in Westminster, was chosen along with a Labour and Liberal Democrat winner from dozens of entries.

The awards are open to all staff working for an MP or a Peer in parliamentary or constituency offices.

Miss Magee said: “I’m very grateful to Philip for nominating me for this award and for giving me the chance to work in such an interesting role. I have been able to work on a diverse range of topics and campaign on both local and national issues.”

Mr Davies said: “I am absolutely delighted that Grainne has won this award. I know what a fantastic job she does day in day out.”
