Eight motorists have been caught speeding on the Bingley Bypass today.

Officers carried out a speed enforcement on the A650 Sir Fred Hoyle Way, where there have been long-standing concerns about the speed of vehicles.

In addition to those caught speeding, police also caught two motorists driving without insurance, with a pair of vehicles being seized.

A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police’s roads policing unit said: “Speed enforcement on the A650 Sir Fred Hoyle Way, Bingley resulted in eight drivers being dealt with for speeding offences, two drivers being dealt with for no insurance and two vehicles seized for no insurance and taken off the road.”
