AN intrepid team of employees at a social housing group completed their annual charity challenge with a swim in Windermere.
A group of five workers from Incommunities including chief executive Geraldine Howley, with work-mates Adrienne Reid, Greg Robinson, Mark Crane and Anthony O’Donohue, completed a one-mile circle on Windermere as part of the Great North Swim. The group’s original aim was to swim 22 miles, the equivalent of the width of the English Channel.
They have swum more than 460 miles in local pools, raising more than £800 in online donations for the homeless charity, Crisis.
