POLICE have today released the name of a man who died in a collision in Keighley.
Shaun Philip Howard, aged 30, of Keighley, died from injuries he suffered when the blue Fiat Punto he was driving left the road in Laycock Lane and collided with a road sign and a tree on Wednesday May 24.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two other men in the car also suffered serious injuries. One, a 23-year-old man, is currently in hospital where his condition is described as critical but stable.
Another who was also in the car suffered minor injuries.
Sergeant Ann Drury, of the Major Collision Enquiry Team, said: "We are continuing to appeal for witnesses to this collision, which happened close to the junction with Braithwaite Road at about 11.12pm on Wednesday, May 24.
"Anyone who witnessed it or the movements of the vehicle prior to it is asked to contact the team on 101, quoting log 2137 of 24 May."
