SHOPPERS can grab a bargain at an Easter market in Bingley.

The event will be held on Friday and Saturday, April 14 and 15, between 10.30am and 3.30pm on both days in Bingley Market Square.

The market will see regular traders joined by a number of other stalls including food and drink.

There will also be an Easter Egg hunt around the town, entertainment for children, including free donkey rides on the Saturday, and special appearances by the Bingley Bear.

It has been organised by Bingley Chamber of Trade and Commerce, supported by Bingley Town Council.

Jamie Illingworth, Bingley Chamber of Trade and Commerce president, said: “This will be a fun, family event and we’re hoping to create a real buzz in the town.

“We are delighted to be closely supported by the Town Council on this and hope that everyone will enjoy what’s on offer.”

Bingley Town Councillor Michelle Chapman added: “Supporting this event is a way to encourage our community and visitors into the town centre.”
