A GUISELEY man has gained national exposure after appearing in a television documentary series.
Jason Slassor, a customer service assistant for Network Rail at Leeds station, features in Inside King’s Cross: The Railway on Channel 5, which goes behind the scenes of railway workers on the East Coast Main Line.
Mr Slassor, who has worked for Network Rail for 14 years, was seen in Monday’s first episode helping a passenger who was stumbling on the platform after too many drinks.
He said: “Every day is different, but helping passengers whether they’ve had too much to drink, feel unwell or need directions happens every day.”
The second episode will be screened on Monday, March 13, at 9pm.
